This sleep study is conducted by the Sleep and Metabolism Laboratory at Colorado State University.

Study Requirements: Healthy Men & Women Age 35-55 with sleep quality complaints

This research study is aimed to answer whether or not oral cannabinoid (CBD) treatment has therapeutic effects on sleep quality. Adults aged 35-55 with reported sleep problems will be studied.

Activity in this research study includes three visits,

(1)a consent visit with health questionnaires given to determine eligibility,

(2) an equipment and treatment dose (powder packet) pickup (You will be randomized to a CBD dose that will be between 0-40mg.), and finally

(3) an equipment and remaining treatment dose drop-off at completion of the study.

The study will take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. There are some risks to participating in this study, like nausea, fatigue and irritability. We hope that this research will benefit the sleep quality of people with sleep problems and ultimately reduce the risks of health problems associated with insufficient sleep.
