PIKE-PREP is a one-year program designed to prepare recent baccalaureate graduates from groups traditionally underrepresented (URM) in the biomedical sciences and research for admission to and success in top-tier biomedical graduate programs.

Selected participants will engage in mentored research, career development and training activities, and graduate school application assistance. PIKE-PREP participants are expected to apply to PhD or MD-PhD graduate programs upon the conclusion of their PIKE-PREP participation.

If you are interested in a path to a MD degree, please do not fill out this application and instead consider applying for the PRESTIGE (Premed RESearch TrainInG Experience) program instead.

We require a minimum of two and a maximum of four professional references (i.e. college professors, research faculty, advisors, or counselors) who can provide information about your academic and career interests and submit a letter of recommendation for you to the program.
